Ogun Police Arrest Three Cultists With Woman’s Pants

In continuation of its war against cultism and other violent crime, men of the Ogun State Police Command, on Friday 10th May, stormed an initiation hideout of the dreaded Supreme Eiye Confraternity in Agbowa area of Ogijo where three members of the group were arrested.

“The DPO, Ogijo Division, CSP Muhammed Suleman Baba, while leading his men of Operation Puff Adder on routine patrol got information about the hideout of the cult group, where new members usually initiated and the place was subsequently stormed”, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, the Command’s spokesman disclosed in a statement on Sunday.
Oyeyemi gave the names of the arrested cultists who have all confessed their membership of Eiye Confraternity as Olagboye Abidemi, 32, Olasemojo Michael, 28 and Wasiu Waheed, 23.
Items recovered from them included one jack knife, one blood stained silver knife,  one female pants tied with charms and other assorted charms.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, CP Bashir Makama has ordered the transfer of the suspects to the Anti-Kidnapping/Cultism section of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for discrete investigation. The CP also warned that the state will no longer be conducive for any violent group as the command will be taking the battle to their doorsteps.
