Shooting Stars Legend, Taiwo Ogunjobi Dies

Former  Secretary General of the  Nigerian Football Federation, Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi has died. The former Nigerian International and  ex-Shooting Stars captain passed on in the early hours of Monday at the University College Hospital, Ibadan.  

Ogunjobi, who was until his demise the Chairman of Osun State FA was reportedly sighted at an awards ceremony some days before he took ill.

He belonged to the golden generation of Shooting Stars players and legends that included the likes of Best Ogedegbe, Muda Lawal, Felix Owolabi Akinloyè, Segun Odegbami and many others.

He was not known to be  managing any  health issue. He was however said to have been sick briefly over the weekend.
